Dear Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project area neighbors,
train testing continues along the project alignment!

Crews comprised of Los Angeles Metro and project contractor, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC), continue train testing in the southern segment of the project alignment. Last week train testing extended to the Westchester/Veterans Station at Florence Av and Hindry Bl. The project team tested signal systems and train crossing through an at-grade crossing for the first time, safely and successfully crossing at Arbor Vitae St at Portal Ave. The train also crossed a bridge over the Manchester Bl.
You can see a video of the train in motion over Manchester bridge

Train testing is ongoing, please watch for trains before crossing.
